The Warrior Princess Project endeavors to merge these modalities into an integrative approach.

The Warrior Princesses Project is a place where the search for meaning emerges and where suffering is no longer an obstacle it becomes an opportunity to initiate oneself into a new awakened experience. Freedom comes from breaking old patterns of thinking, believing and behaving, reconnecting to your body and integrating your spirit. Transformation occurs while the individual safely embraces the darkness and begins to connect to a deeper meaning. When suffering has a meaning, we have purpose. Here we discover our meaning amidst a group of compassionate, supportive and loving souls.

This is a hero's journey to find the treasure of one's self. This journey is the realization of the power of each person's warrior self to overcome the dark memories then divine nature, the divine feminine, emerges and integrates into the full embodiment of the Warrior Princess.

Becoming a Warrior Princess

Who is the Warrior Princess?

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful

then the risk to blossom.” Anais Nin

A Warrior Princess is a woman who is realizing she can overcome the emotional and spiritual bondage associated with sexual abuse. She gains a sense of empowerment and recognizes her strength through finding meaning through her trauma.

The princess is the unveiling of the spirit within—the divine in each of us. This divine aspect is her authentic self and she learns to fully embrace this as her infinite power. She learns to love herself passionately, without reservation, and finds power in vulnerability.

She has peeled back the layers of pain, guilt, and shame. She is courageous and strong, embracing her wounds as an opportunity to emerge into her true self.

Through walking into the fire as a warrior, she reveals the princess within. She stands strong in herself and fully supports those in her tribe. This self-empowerment extends outward—her authenticity empowers others.

She knows there are no wounds beyond healing. She trusts in her ability to heal and claims that power as her truth.

Her strength is tender and comes through vulnerability.

She embodies:

"Never a victim, always a warrior"

A safe place to heal.

Our first priority is safety first. Healing cannot occur until you feel safe. This means feeling safe physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We endeavor to create a space where your safety is valued and honored. We recognize that you can feel unsafe in relationships with others as well as yourself. This means you may even feel unsafe in your own body. We offer a range of modalities that support your process and promote connecting to yourself which leads to integration.

Trauma healing is possible, and there are many steps in the journey to wholeness. The process is no walk in the park; it takes commitment and dedication. We fully believe that all things are healable; you are HEAL-ABLE.

We are here to support you.

Creating Safe Relationships through Connection

Here at the Warrior Princesses Project, we focus on supporting those who have experienced sexual abuse, while also recognizing that trauma and painful experiences come in many forms. We would be honored to support you in your journey toward healing, if you choose.

We do not claim to be healers; we are supporters of the process and, therefore, encourage each individual to be accountable for their journey toward healing. We hope to empower others to shine their light, and someday we can collectively shine our light across the world.

About Us

About the Founder

Janeen Stout-Goodrich, MS, EdD (Dissertation phase)

I am a mother, a daughter, a grandmother, a sister, an eternal lover of GOD, Divine Intelligence, and a passionate seeker of truth who is learning to embrace my true feminine essence. I am a lifelong learner, which means I am a student on this journey, humbled by my blind spots as I acknowledge healing is a continual process with no definitive end.

I have survived deep betrayal and trauma which makes me deeply committed to supporting others on this visceral journey within. I have spent a lifetime learning what I am bringing forward, with a genuine heart-based intention to serve. My entire journey is finding my way back home to my true self and if you find it valuable, I would love to walk with you on your journey.

My formal credentials include: a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and I am currently in pursuit of an EdD in Community Counseling with a trauma focus (in the final stages of the dissertation process). I also hold a certifications in Reiki healing, hypnotherapy, Intuitive Intelligence Coaching and I am Trauma Release Exercise (TRE) provider.

While I have engaged in many hours of trauma-related continuing education courses, I truly believe my own integration work is my biggest contribution. My real knowing comes through experience; it is more of a gnosis, an embodiment process.

I continue to grow through connection with self and others, and I am walking by your side—not in front, but right next to you—for I am a student in this classroom of life, just like you.

Ultimately, I endeavor to be a warrior of light—a Warrior Princess.

Mother and Daughter Team

The Warrior Princesses Project would not exist without my daughter. Arianna Goodrich is both the co-founder and the heart behind this mission.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has worked closely with young girls who have been sex trafficked. She is also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, which deeply shapes the compassion and understanding she brings to this work.

Arianna’s greatest gifts come from the purity of her heart. She has a deep love for animals and has worked as an equine professional in equine-assisted therapy programs rooted in the Natural Lifemanship approach. Her work is grounded in relationship and connection. She deeply respects the healing power she’s experienced—both personally and alongside others—through consensual relationships with horses, where trust is built and a safe space for healing naturally unfolds. She brings this insight and experience to support the Warrior Princesses’ integrative approach to healing.

The Birth of WPP

The Warrior Princesses Project birthed out of my own “Dark Night of the Soul” experience. The devastation my heart experienced from learning I was a mother of two children who were both sexually abused by my former husband created deep soul wounds.  The profound suffering from these deep wounds of betrayal caused an awakening to layers of my being I had not known existed. This was the “Dark Night” of the Soul, an initiation into higher intelligence and an awareness of the connection between spirituality and emotional healing.  This was my first real knowing that healing these painful wounds required integration.

While healing my broken heart was a critical part of this process, the most painful aspect of all was the helpless feeling I had for my children on how to heal their incredibly deep soulful wounds. After years of searching and much frustration with traditional healing modalities, I was inspired to bring hope to others through this project. Knowing and experiencing that all is heal-able became my focus and the intention for my life.

As I searched for solutions, techniques and answers,  I was able to comprehend the importance of integration and the impact it had on healing the psyche and emotional body. It made me aware that emotional healing was directly related to spiritual healing.

The greatest learning and knowledge I can share is that of a personal "experiencer". I have learned the power of integration and that this is a process.

You are able to heal, you are HEAL-ABLE!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at janeen@thewarriorprincessesproject.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  1. The language around terms like sexual violence, sex abuse, sexual harassment, and sexual assault, isn’t always used in a consistent way. We call it unacceptable. It is a violation of your natural rights as a human and we will never sugar coat the facts.
  2. The term sexual violence is used as an umbrella term to describe any sexual contact that occurs by force or without consent. These are hurtful, traumatic experiences. Most of these behaviors are also crimes, including sexual assault, and rape. For this reason, the Warrior Princesses Project serves anyone who has experienced sexual violence. Many of our tribe members have experienced childhood sexual abuse and others have experienced sexual violence in later years. We know trauma attracts trauma. It is not uncommon for those who were sexually abused as a child to experience additional sexual violence (trauma) later in life.
  3. Sexual assault is any non consensual, illegal, sexual act. This includes unwanted, intentional sexual touching (groping), rape, forcing a victim to touch someone else, exposing oneself in public (flashing), voyeurism or peeping, and sexual coercion (pressuring or tricking someone into sexual activity), among other acts. Additionally, the United States Department of Justice changed the federal definition of rape as of  2012, updating it to include penetration of any body opening with any sex organ or object without consent.
  4. Sex abuse tends to refer to sex acts with children as victims. It can include any or all of the above actions. d an answer to this item.

  1. Perhaps, this is the first time you have begun a search for resources to support your healing journey.  It is well known that the number of people who have been victims of sexual abuse is far higher than most realize. The national statistics are astounding: 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused by the time they’re 18-years-old. More recent statistics from RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) report one of 4 men and one of 3 women will experience sexual abuse at least once. There are reports indicating 80% of sexual assaults are not reported by the victims. You are not alone. These are staggering statistics and we must unite and come together to heal. This mission is a supportive mission to encourage you to begin your journey towards wholeness. The first step is to recognize you are not alone.
  2. The Warrior Princesses Project is a mission with an intention to provide much needed support to face the painful memories of abuse. We are a sexual abuse victim advocacy project. We are here to support you. One of the first steps we recommend is to join the Warrior Princesses Tribe to establish a safe connection with others. Our private meetings are offered with the intention to create trusting and safe relationships. The tribe is a confidential and private group of members who convene to share, grow and heal together. We also offer one on one sessions for your supportive journey. Our group sessions help you develop specific tools to assist in your healing process. There are a variety of programs designed to meet your needs.Add an answer to this item.

The Warrior Princesses Project is a mission with an intention to provide much needed support to face the painful memories of abuse. One of the first steps recommended is to join the Warrior Princesses Tribe, where private supportive group meetings are offered for an opportunity to establish relationships where trust can be built.

  1. Every 90 seconds someone in the U.S is sexually assaulted and a new survivor is forced to carrry a burden no one should.
  2. The painful memories can become stuck and in an attempt to avoid the painful memories the mind will create strategies to avoid the pain. The result can be a looping of thoughts. Often behaviors can be used to avoid pain but they become maladaptive such as addictions, dissociation, dysfunctional communication skills and self-harm. Learning how to break these patterns will improve your overall well-being and quality of life. The Warrior Princesses provides tools you can use daily to begin to take your power back and release non-productive feelings and behaviors.
  3. Many survivors feel worse about themselves after the assault. It is common to experience self-blame, guilt and shame. You may feel bad about yourself for not being able to prevent the abuse. We work with you to eliminate these feelings and learn to love yourself. Self-love is an indicator of healing.

  1. Unresolved painful memories and/or trauma can keep one stuck in a pattern of feeling sad, depressed and hopeless. Childhood trauma has been strongly linked to depression, substance use disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health disorders that are present in adulthood. Because you have experienced sexual abuse, you do not have to remain stuck in this unhappy place. The Warrior Princesses Project provides support by meeting with other victims in a private forum, on-line workshops which teach you techniques for managing painful memories and immersion workshops for weekend retreats to explore alternative healing modalities.

  1. No, not at all. While you might experience therapeutic benefits and healing, we do do not claim to be licensed professional counselors or clinicians. We offer resources for survivors of sexual abuse as mentall health coaches. We are supporting you through your journey to healing.
  2. The Warrior Princesses Project is a web based community support group of peers. It is not a therapy group and the meeting facilitators, owners, leaders do not serve in the capacity of professionally trained therapists. The program should not be used as a substitute for professional care and services. The Warrior Princesses Project and the respective private group assumes no responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses that occur as a result of participation in these support groups. You should always consult a trained professional with any questions about your specific needs and concerns. Always know your own limitations and factor in your own good judgment and common sense.
  3. This is a Transformational Integration workshop where healing begins from within and acknowledges the healing aspects of body, mind and spirit.

  1. No, There are no guarantees for how successful and effective this program will be for you. Everyone is at a different stage of growth, awareness and capacity to process painful emotions. Your own growth is a process and it ultimately depends on you and your commitment. We cannot guarantee your behavior or commitment to healing.

Waiver claim – We are not offering licensed counseling services. This is a mental health coaching program that offers integrative modalities, many of which source from traditional psychology programs.
